    Once again, you aren't stupid, just uninformed.
    The main reason is to keep clutter down. We're trying to keep everything in it's proper place, and the proper place for this nonsense is the Cavern, whereas the proper place for greetings and such is Greetings.

    Yes, good sir, I see you could use Stinking cloud but you will find I am well versed and skilled in the improvisational casting of Conjure Cork, Greater and it can sometimes be an unpleasant spell for the recipient.
