Callista opened her eyes, she pulled her self up just a tiny bit, just being able to see over the top of a hedge, she looked down at the stick, "It's no use leave me, i'm just a burden to you, if you stay with me then you both will surely die" she pointed to fox, as she saw him running, she looked deep into the foxes eye's "i will be ok, if i survive this i will come and find you both, i must rest, my wounds must heal" Callista placed her hand on her side, and looked down at it, blood was still trickling down her side, "just go please" she begged, she pushed the fox lightly, to make sure she understood

Amas felt sick at what he was about to do but he didn't debate about it. He had circled around untill he was close to the the fox woman and the elf. He strode up quickly at the same time he said, "I am going to help you. As of right now I won't hurt you." The flat voice didn't utter anything else but a flash of light from his gun sent another stalking werewolf into the great beyond.

Years of combat training had afforded Amas a considerable amount of physical strength and endurance for the human hunter. He bent low and picked up the elf trying to be careful of her wounds. Amas placed her on his shoulder and set off at a pace quick for a human. When moving to fast the chamelon effect of his suit failed to work correctly beacuse of the rate at which the colors changed. It finaly gave up and reverted to a dark gray which was hard to see but much easier to track than the chamelon effect.

Amas ran hard firing over his shoulder every few paces, he thought the fox was to his left, but he really didn't care anymore. The bounty wasn't worth he was certain he would never catch them now not with only a pistol and a blade. Is was only about survival now, if he could talk his way he owuld but Amas suspected feelings might be a little hard.

Callista, stared at the bounty hunter as he picked her up and began to run with her, she let her head drop down, her wounds now paining so much she thought she was going to pass out if it countinued, her mind was racing why was this person who was trying to kill them now helping them, was he trying to get close to them and then kill them, or maybe he just had a feeling of guilt, at this very moment she didnt care she just tried to relax

Fletch knew what Callista said was true. Fox was rapidly dissappearing in the foliage and the man Amas rushed towards them. She bounded a good few steps away her neck fur bristling, but knowing there was little she could do to defend either herself or Callista against this man.

When the man swept her up into his arms she felt a momentary worry until she saw he did not seem intent on harming her. Perhaps even more so focused on getting her away from danger. With one last puzzled look she bounded after fox following his scent and the ground he had upturned in his haste.

She could still hear Amas walking with Callista in his arms. She sent out her mind for Fox. She could still smell him but she could no longer hear his footfalls before her.

Fox was not so far away, he had been startled by the sudden appearance of the bounty hunter, and had bolted. He came back, feelin her calling to him. He nuzzled her shoulder, and gave her a sheepish apologetic look.

He looked at the bounty hunter moving away with the she-elf, and then the other direction at the wolf that had a certain wrongness about it. It was the dead thing, it could leap from body to body...

He whined low in his throat. How could hope to defeat such a monster, or even escape it?

Amas sent another long light blast behind himself then picked up his pace using the thermal imaging viewer to track the two foxes. When he finally caught up he looked down at them, "Well, do you have an escape plan or is this just a futal attempt at suicicde?"

Fox didnt look happy, his tongue hung out of his mouth and his muscles burned with fatigue. Now the bounty hunter was talking to them. He wasnt sure if that was better than being shot at. Well, it was alot better than being shot at.

He relaxed control over the vulpine shape and was hit with a spasm of vertigo as he assumed a two-legs form. He looked at the bounty hunter, a young man with wild hair and an unshaven face.

"Suicide!" his hands pulled into claws (not real claws) "We were minding our own business and you started making thunder and fire at us, and then that thing shows up, which we have killed twice already, as far as I can tell...

"No I dont have a plan!" he shouted.
  8. ~Shades of Grey~

    #88
Callista stirred "what's all that shouting" she asked looking up from her position, "fox is that you?" she asked, her eyesight still blurry, "what happened, all i remeber is pain and lot's of it" she placed her hand on her side where the gash was quite deep, she took a deep breathe, and started to push down quite hard on the wound making the outside go red, after she done this for a while, she stayed quite still letting the cool feeling rush over her, blood had started to trickle again but not alot of it, but the pain was almost gone or at least stablised, she turned her head slightly to look in each direction at the fox, on fox himself in human form, and then the bounty hunter "you, you did this to me" she pointed at her side "are you not going to say sorry or at least tell us why you did it?"

A quick yelp erupted from the last of the wolves as Asheel personally broke it's neck with his werewolf-like claws. Ah silence of the dead. What a beautiful thing. He took a look around and saw the many souls fleeing his wrath.

A loud laugh erupted from him as he watched the souls of his fleeing victims run. He did not move, but instead took a second to soak up the bloody silence that surrounded him. His clothes were torn, but all of his equiptment and armor were still intact.

His right sleave was completely torn off and his exposed arm showed, veiled in grey fur. A intricately cut bracer adorned his wrist out of pure narcisistic glee, and a ring adorned his finger, shimmering in the moonlight a strange irridescent blue-grey.

Now back to work. He started speaking the old language, calling up the souls of the dead to infest the newly deceased wolves. It was three full minutes before the five wolves had been raised from the dead. they stood there with great gaping wounds and broken bones as the magic did its best to mend them.

It had been five minutes, and now Asheel had something to work with. His victims were very far off now, and it might take some time to catch them, but he would, and then he would seek his vengence.

Asheel and his wolves sprinted forewards towards the group. Thanatos and Yama lagged behind as Asheel (in what could be described as a werewolf form) was easily able to outrun them with his wolf undead.

One of the five wolves also stayed behind as a sort of a blood-pet for later use.

They would catch up to the injured group soon enough...

Fox squatted down, still painfully naked, next to the elf.

"Yes, it's me. He helped you, carried you away when you fell. The evil thing has taken one of the wolven, I dont know where it is, but we have killed it twice..." he said, his voice rapid and high pitched as he was greatly agitated.

He looked back up at the bounty hunter, and down at the elf, and wondered what she meant by wanting a 'sorry' from the hunter.

Callista blinked once then twice, she looked into fox's eyes "help me up please" she tried to pull herself up on her own "help me up please" she said urgently, "it is not safe here we must keep moving", a pain shot through her leg and she calapsed as she tried to pull herself up "will someone please help me up please" she looked around pleading with her eyes, "we must move, its not safe," Callista suddenly felt faint she led back down, but she did not stop from trying to pull herself up twice she calaposed, she looked around as she leant on the floor "fine then we shall all die here" she closed her eye's to shield anyone seeing the sharp rush of pain she just recieved in her leg

"I only shot you twice with 12mm rounds that you healed like they were nothing, I don't know what your talking about your other wound I though the wolves did it. And for that matter I don't know what I'm doing, this is very odd for me, I just couldn't let the wolves get you. Besides if you were dead I'd never collect the bounty, no that I intend to anymore." Amas looked confused for a second Callista was stillt rying to help herself up when Amas picked her up and put her on his shoulder. "Now shut up and let me think!"

A ghoulish wolf call made up his mind, "If we can get out of these woods I can call my ship and we can move somewhere safer. Any of you know the way out of the woods?"

"Yes, yes!" Fox said excited. He jumped up and tugged at the arm of the bounty hunter. "This way, there is a ridge, and a high hill where the lightning always strikes during storms, there are no trees there, it is out of the forest."

He ran about in a semi-excited manner, and regressed back into his vulpine form.

"Well stopping running around with your head lopped off and lead the way!" Amas fired a couple of shots into the woods behind them to discourage any pursuers and kick up a back fire to cover their trail.

"lets get out of here" she said quietly her strength once again ebbing as the bleeding countinued, was the wolves or the bounty hunter who had wounded her in such a way, she couldn't remeber, and at that moment she didn't care, she let her head rest against the bounty hunters chest as he carried her, "i hope we get out if here soon, i don't like it in here" she said looking up just so she could see the bottom of the bounty hunters chin, she again let her head dropp and her eyes close for a tiny bit, the last thing she knew was that she was being carried but she didnt no where to, her mind was at ease, relaxed as she dropped of to sleep,

i will leave it up to one of you to tell me to wake up or wake me up ok.

At the bounty hunters urging, Fox broke out of his circle and ran forward following a path that had survived the tidal wave. It was a sturdy path, likely used by villagers who passed through, not much more than a cart part and not a well used one by the look of it.

The open hill was well ahead, its face rising above the crowns of the trees. The surface was flat, and relatively smooth, and bore the marks of regular lightning strikes. Likey it was a major load of high grade iron ore that regularly charged itself, and caused the lightning to strike in that one place more and more often.

Fox crossed a narrow stream, and cut through the blackberries that the she-elf had picked perhaps only hours before. They were close, and no sign of the undead monsters. Fox felt a flicker of relief.

    Amas nodded, "Good job."

He set down Callista careful of her wounds, then pulled out a small square device with a touch pad digital screen. Amas began punching in a series of combinations, then there was a annoying beeping.

"The ship most be on the farside of the planet, were going to have to wait a little while. I think we should keep watch from that high ground near those rocks on the edge of the clearing. You all are tired and are low on energy you need to rest. I'll watch through the night."

Fox agreed with the bounty hunter, and laid down on the ground, his nose exposed to the wind. He would be able to smell the unclean one well before it arrived, unless the wind shifted direction in the night, but the weather was clear and that seemed unlikely.

He was curious, he wanted to make more words with the bounty hunter, to know why he was being hunted, and why the others were too. He wanted to talk to the vixen, and to the she-elf. So much curiosity, but there was soo much tired as well.

Fletch gave a reconcilatory glance to the bounty hunter. She was relieved when she saw Fox return and even more so when they could all sit together without fear of being killed. She was surprised when Fox used his human form again knowing that he despised it and found it awkward. But it was not long before he returned to his vulpine form. She lay down besdie he bounty hunter and Callista across from Fox her head laying on her paws.

She though on what had been said and the strange equipmen the man carried. She had seen armour before but none with the strange strength and make of this man's. It was surely otherworldish she concluded. And a ship? Something made her know he did not mean any wooden boat, apart from the fact the ocean was far away she knew this man could pose as no sailor.

She herself had several questions for them all, but thought it better to wait until she could get some clothes for herself. She could talk into their minds but it was tiring and at the moment it was not a feasible option. Fletch stood up after a while her muscles aching after the lactic acid build up from all of their activity. Looking to the others she decided to take a short walk to clear her limbs and also to perhaps see if Bram lingered nearby. She could not longer feel him near and it unnerved her. Silently she slipped off into the forest, being cautious and stealthy, using all her vulpine instincts to carry her noiselssly through the area.

The party's scent was in the air. He could smell them clearly now. He continued his fast exhilerating pace, running at full speed as he let the adrenaline pump through him. As he came not far from the party he stopped. He stood on all four paws gasping for breath. He had just run quite a ways and unlike the wolves beside him he was not an undead creature without the need for air. He was quite alive.

But most of the work was done. Once he caught his breath he would strike, and nothing would stop him...

Amas scanned the edges f the forest, he picked up faint heat treaces every where, one bloomed and appeared to be the she-fox. Now what the hell was she doing? He thought. Amos changed the visor over to a light gathering mode that afforded him vision almost as good as day. Everything was cast in strange hues of greens with no shadows but it was effective because he spotted it. A huge wolf surronded by other wolfs in more or less forms of deomposition. In asecond his hand was on the BFG, he aimed and pulled the trigger at the first wolf to cross into the clearing.

It might have been like a lighting bolt appearing out of nowhere the chamelon effect at night was nearly impossible to see.

Callista slowly opened one eye and looked up at the starry sky above her, she turned her head slightly, to see the bounty hunter, what had he seen? she tried to pull herself up carefully managing to learn on her elbows, the she-fox had dissappered probely into the forest but fox was still there, she sat up a bit more blinking as her focus came into clear view "whats going on?" she asked quietly, trying to keep her balance and falling back down to her elbows,

Fletch was only a mere sprint from their camp when she smelt the presence of others. She hid herself beneath a gorse bush, ignoring it's sharp probing fingers and she crawled underneath it. Her scuffles were well worth while however as she saw the wolves stop but a stones throw from her bush. She closed her mouth tightly to stop from mkaing any large sounds and breathed through her noes, delicate nostrils flaring at both their scent and her own indescribable fear.

Suddenly a bolt of immense brightness and sound penetrated the consuming shadows causing confusion among the wolf and his undead bretheren. Using the chance to escape she slipped out from under the bush and fairly flew back to the camp, eternally grateful to Amas as undoubtedly she would have died had the wolves spotted her.

Asheel had not rested very long before a bolt of lightning shot out and hit a wolf next to him. The wolf was thrown back by the blast right into a tree. Aside from the burned off skin from the face of the creature, it was fine. It stood again on two feet.

Asheel sent the wolves on attack. They did not attack on sight, but on smell. Asheel himself did not see the bounty hunter either, but he could see the soul of the bounty hunter. He saw him clear as day, although he did not see Amas with his eyes, it was some other ssense that detected him. It was something indescribable in comparison to his other senses. In the same way that sound is unrelatable to sight, and sight is completely unrelatable to smell, Asheels ability to detect souls was completely unrelatable to any other sense in his body. But his artifacts gave him this extra sense, and it was extremely useful. Asheel himself leapt into attack. He went around the side of the bounty hunter, dodging between trees and brush so as not to be shot. Of all the wolves, he was the only one with a heat signature. Then he pulled out his morningstar and swung it with all his strength at te bounty hunter.

Even if his attack failed, his wolf-man form would allow him to back it up with claws and teeth. The form needed to be taken advantage of. It would be gone in as little as six hours. The metamorphasis would be complete by then and he would be completely human again.

The wolves leapt at the bounty hunter only seconds before Asheel swung his morningstar. The wolves should be able to knock Amas off balance enough for the morningstar to do its damage.

Primal fury engulfed him as he and his wolves tore into the bounty hunter.

Meanwhile, Yama and Thanatos were also closing in. They still had some time to go, but they were running full speed, and they were not slow...

OOC: Um, just in case you were thinking of the wolves as these empty carcasses that were halve gone with skin rotting of their bones, the wolves had exactly five minutes to decompose, plus the time it took them to travel to where the party is. Aside from the various gashes and wounds they sustained when dying, as well as the fact that one of them has had a large portion of skinburned off by Amas's gun, they look and smell exactly like regular wolves.

Amas saw them coming long before anyone else as bright as they came running head while the half and half of the other went to his side. It was an effective yet primitive tactic, Amas fired one last spread shot from the BFG which burned up the air around him making killing all the different microscopic cells and particles that floated around including the ones that indicated smell. It was a impossibly short amount of time but it made him invisible to the wolves sense of smell for just a second or two. Enough time to parry the mornning star with his vibroblade.

Then with a gigantic roar that defeaned hearing and stunned those unfamialiar with the noise the ship appeared over head. It was huge compared to anything on the field. Using a blink-eye manipulator built into the visor of his helmet he activated the ships defenses. Anything with a heat less than 98.6 degrees heat source was targeted by the four undercarriage turrents that foled out. Each blistered a heavy repeating laser intended for use against armored infantry it ate into the formation of wolves and hailed death on the dead.

"Everyone to human form of whatever you are now and get on the ship!!!" Amas took a couple of steps backward then propelled forward with a series of blistering slashing and stabbing strikes. The blade cut metal like a table knife into butter.

Callista stunned, but now able to move got to her feet and slowly walked towards the air-ship, she had felt the presence of something, something big but at that percious moment she didn't know what, she breathed heavily as she stumbled up into the ship holding her side once again "remind me never to do that again" she said quietly to herself

Fox felt himself slipping into a primal terror as fire and lightning filled the air, wolves howling and the sudden acrid smell of burnt flesh. The air sizzled with the metallic odor of the weapon the bounty hunter discharged, but the horrid smell of the wolves was obliterated.

The smell was indeed horrible. The normal smell of wolf was gone, masked by the coppery tang of blood, and the sharper smell of urine and feces. In the moment of death, most living things lost bodily control, a last disgrace before dying. Fox quailed as the air itself thrummed and something beyond comprehension floated down out of the sky, blistering the ground with fire.

The command from the bounty hunter anchored him in the now, he complied with the command, assuming the human form, feeling the frenzy fear burning just out of sight. The fear that rode in a wave before a forest fire...

The guns on the ship fired wildly at everything that did not have a temperature of a human or greater (i am assuming you mean moving targets or else the ground and sky are also subject). The guns blasted six trees to smoldering ash before a single shot fired at a wolf. The wolf now layed on the ground, riddled with holes from the weapon (i am assuming it is a rapid fire weapon and not a charge cannon). Another wolf was also dessimated by the ships guns.

As soon as Amas swung, the morningstar broke, sending the spiked head flying at Amas anyway. Asheel quickly threw the weapon and using his wolf-man form pounced upon the bounty hunter, of which two wolves had gotten hold. Despite the assault, Amas managed to stand firm, and Asheel was in shock and pain as his chest was sliced open from the bounty hunters sword. His leaping body did not stop its movement however as he came crashing down upon the bounty hunter, the blade decapitating him as he did.

Suddenly he was next to Yama and Thanatos, who had just reached the outside of the groups position. He was in a new wolf body, the one he had set the spirit link to. Since the spirit link took place instantly, there was no loss of control, or disintegration of his wolves, nor did Yama and Thanatos dissapate.

But then they stopped. All three did. Asheel realized that that bounty hunter had just slashed through pure plate-mail. Had Asheel been a little closer, the wound across his chest would have literally cut him in half, going diagonally across his chest. His armor did not protect him from the blow.

Asheel was still hot, but not so much that he did not recognize supermortal endangerment, the endangerment of his rebirth. He would have to let this alien go. It was not worth the risk. The others could never have defeated him, but this alien had the potential power to.

Better to live till another day. Besides, he could still set the unflooded portion of the woods on fire. That would at least be some consolation...

Amas was battered down but managed the strikes that fell the creatures around him, he got up quickly and ran up the ramp of the ship. Doing a quick head count he took a guard position as the bottom of the ship's ramp watching the foes retreat but waiting for Fletch too.

Fletch had transformed on Amas's commnad but had tripped in her haste over a fallen log. She picked herself up quickly however and hurried after the others and was not long behind them. Her feet hit the ramp with small steps and soon she was safely ihdden within it's metallic walls. She looked about her curiously her eyes wide and truthfully firghtened. She looked at Callista and Fox who also seemed to look around in wonder, but Amas was busy standing at the door of the ship.

Fletch stood idly in one corner close to her friends, trying to cover what was humanly possible with her hands. She herself was not so much embarassed by her nakedness, as to her it was a part of life. But other humans she noticed found it strange and offensive. She realised with a strangled cry that Bram had not made it to the ship. he was most likely dead and soon small tears traced their way down her soot dirtied face, leaving small clear rivers down her cheeks. She looked at Fox and wondered what he had left behind, what had been lost, and Callista and the injuries she had sustained. It would be too dangerous to return for a long time.

Fletch rubbed at her eyes wearily and looked to the others, trying to smile though it was weak and forced. At least they were safe now. She spoke to Fox for hte first time in human form since they're first meeting, "You wish to learn Fox" she stated simply looking at him her head slightly to one side and her eyes honest.

Asheel watched as all of them ran inside the stomach of that strange bird that flew with no wings. This Amas was strange indeed to travel inside the stomach of a wingless bird, with a carapace (or possibly just a carapace armor) of a Giant Fire-beetle, and carrying such powerful magical devices and weapons. Such weapons could make Asheel unstoppable, but there was truly no way of safely destroying this character without magically binding him. It could be done, certainly, it would be an easy feat for somebody as skilled in Necromancy as Asheel, but it would take time to fully control this person, and time where no others would interrupt, something that he could not do at the moment. If he ever fought this character again, he would have to kill the ones around him first before he could take the humanoid.

He thought this as he slowly walked into the blasted out clearing created by the ships guns (and all three have normal body temperatures). He, Thanatos, and Yama could be seen in the moonlight as they walked out it the clearing with a calm pace, neither threateningly, nor unthreateningly and stopped, looking at all inside the ship. They simply sttod there standing side by side in the eerie light of the moon watching, and nothing more.

Amas had a faint recalling of another but with the three humanoids standing there, luckily they didn't know his ship defenses were set to target only non humanoid thermals, he grabbed a switch just inside the the hatch and pulled it down, the yawning ramp closed up tight. Amas let out a small sigh of relief, he pulled off the chamelon effect suit and headed to where the others stood. He didn't keep alot of spare clothes but he did have were in an old crate in the back corner.

With a little grunt of exertion he pulled the crate over tapped in a combitnation on the keypad. The crate had various clothes for disguises he had used on many other bounties a large array of things. He didn't really have any women's clothes but all of them could work either way. "Here our some clothes once you get changed take Callista into the room on your first left to the bow of the ship it had me- healing supplies. Do what you can to bandage her up don't give her any drugs. Make sure she's secure in the bed then grab a seat some where and star youself, we'll be blasting out of here shortly."

He noticed the tears in the Fletch's eyes, he stood there a moment, "We'll coem back for him."

Amas shook the awkward feeling that came over him and headed to the front of the ship. He squeezed into the cramped pilot's compartment and started up the ship, the three folks were still standing there gazing at his ship. He smirked a little and waved a two finger salute. He flicked a series of switches across the board the ship's fusion engine shuttered to life. It sent a series of tremors through the ships. He flipped the auto defenses to off and the guns folded back into their ports. He flicked another switch on and a reassuring blue shimmer hugged the ship like a second skin.

Amas dialed up the anti-grav generator and the ship slowly lifted three meters off the ground. He hesistated before throttling up the main drivers, he looked over his shoulder and called back, "Make sure your all strapped in it's about ti get a little turbulent up here."

Fletch nodded at Amas but knew even if they did there was a small chance he would still be alive. She looked inside the crate. The clothes were of a strange make. They were neturally coloured and soon she had varying outfits for the three of them. She touched the small pouch that hung from her neck with a thin leather cord tentatively as if checking if it still remaines.

Then she began to dress. The shirt was of linen and a light yellow colour, possibly just th enatural colour fo the fabirc she surmised. She belted it tightly at her waist with thin length fo fabris that could have been a veil fo some sort. Even at this point it still billowed out. Then she grabbed a pair of pants, she had never worn men's clothes in her life but she put them on graciously having to undo the sash and then retie it about he rmiddle to keep up the pants. She had obliging rolled up the bottom of the pants so they would not drag on the floor. She was tall but apparantly not so tall as whoever these belonged to, most probably Amas she surmised.

The clothes she had found were similar to what would have been worn on her home planet although for men not women. She was surprised at the other clothes he had, for some were completely alien in nature and garishly coloured. She had been admiring one peice of clothing with a bright emerald border around the neckline but was jerked suddenly as the ship gave a tremor. She took a step back to correct her balance and hoped it was not a sign that whatever they were in was going to cause damage to them.

Even in her mismatched clothes that were far too large there was something about her eyes and demeanour that radiated some kind of magic or knowledge. She walked over to the door that Amas had indicated held healing items. To her surprise th edoor opened itself when she appraoched with a small satisfying hiss of hydrolics. She looked at it speculativelty but coninued and was even more surprised to see the various instruments that the room contained. There were steely grey cabinets filled with tiny bottles and these cabinets had beautiful glass fronts, not the clumsy dimpled surfaces of the glass she had ever seen at home. Pulling open a drawer she found some cloth and knew they were for bandages but then she surveyed the room looking for something else, something that would help clean the wounds on Callista's legs and side.

She turned around in defeat carrying only the cloth before walking over to Amas, "Amas...your infirmary is very full, and I am sure all of the items are useful...but I am unfamiliar with the instruments and the potions in your bottles...which should I use to cleanse Callista's wounds?". She hoped she was not disturbing him as she suiddenly clenched the back of his chair tightly as the ship gave another jerk.

Amas bit back a curse and nodded. He set the ship on auto pilot it could rise up to 50 meters before the main drivers were needed for more lift he set the auto pilot to hover at 25 meters. Shifting out of the tiny cockpit he lead the way back to the corridor. He felt a little more awkward in the skin tight cooling suit rather than normal clothes.

In the medical room he picked out three devices, he still refused to use drugs on an alien physiology the reactions could go pretty bad, not too mention if they got into the buffs. He set the three devices on a tray and made sure the drug cabinet was locked.

"Ok listen carefuly because I'm only gonna say this once." He held up a pen like device, "This is a cauterizer, pressing this button hear will emit a tight focus laser that will close a wound." He paused and let that sink in, then picked a small device that fit in the palm of his hand bottom had a blue emitter. "This is a epidermal regenerator, it will accelerate the rate at which skin heals itself." He set that one down and picked up the last one it was a small container he opened it and brought out a bad lined with a series of small devices and had a zipper on it. "This is a stasis bag if she goes into shock or somethings wrong that you can't figure out throw her in here and zip the bag up. It will hold her in a state of suspended animation untill we can get her to a proper hospital, umm suspended animation is like being frozen she'll appear almost dead her matabolism has just been slown way down along with the rest of functions. Umm I don't know how to explain it anymore just if anything goes wrong through her in here and it will keep her alive till we can get whereever."

Amas paused then left the medical bay went back into the cockpit, "Hurry up the main drivers are prepped you better get changed and strapped down in there, give me a shout when your ready."

The strange flying metal cage was deeply disturbing to Fox. There was nowhere to hide, no safe places, it was a place of the two-legs. But then again, he had been saved by one of the two legs. The anxiety became overwhelming and he reverted to the vulpine form he was more comfortable with. The smell of the place assaulted him, but he felt much more steady on four feet instead of two. The cave made half a dozen noises, a faint ringing, several different vibrations, and had a very slight sway. As well it should, being a flying metal cave.

There was a plethora of smells as well. The most powerful smell was that of the bounty hunter. There was also a good variety of more caustic and organic smells, some came from doorways, others gathered in the corners. There was a grate that produced cold air that had only a slightly metallic odor. That was more comforting. There was clean air entering the cave.

Satisfied with smelling out the confines of the cave he could reach, Fox settled into one of the seats, sniffing a few times before laying down.

Callista gasped as pain once again shot through her leg and side, she let out a small yelp which told anyone who was around she was in pain, she clenched her side blood still pouring, it wasn't normal for blood to keep coming, something was wrong and she could feel it, she closed her eye's slowly, she felt so weak as if something was inside her draining the power away "ok i could really do with some HELP" she screamed as pain really did shot right through her causing her to topple over onto her stomach and writhe in pain, she moved trying to sit back up but the pain it was agony, she just led there sweat pouring down her face, she was fading fast she watched everyone move around sorting things out, her eye's now blurry and stinging, suddenly everything went black, and it felt like Callista was falling down a mountain side, and falling fast, if she hit the floor now she would break every bone in her body.

OOC: she isn't really falling hehe :) i know you all probably know that but just in case one of you is as stupid as i am hehe :D

Amas heard Callista scream and rushed back into time to snatch her arm and keep her steady, "Damn't, I always have to do things myself." Amas helped her limb over to the bed in the medical room and leaid her down on it. He grabbed some alcohol and poured it over the wound then took a swig himself, ugg.

Amas grabbed the cauterizer and burned the wound closed, he slapped the epidermal regerator to Fetch, "press this button and hold it over her wound!"

Amas got back into the cockpit, he dialed up the inertia compensaot for the rear and dialed it lower in the cockpit. Then he threw the throttle forward, his back pressed into the seat and the ship lurched forward at astonishing speed and in seconds was in hte atmosphere. When he finally felt his wait lift he got out and floated to the back in the null-g.

Fletch took the proferred object and felt it's cold metallic surface as it touched her skin. She pressed down on it where Amas had indicated and watched as Callista's skin began to heal itself, the skin knitting together more firmly, soon only a faint scar could be seen. She put the object down, unwilling to believe her own eyes as she inspected Callista's leg again. She blinked heavily but no it was true and it had happened. She inspected the small metcallic apparatus and put it down again when she was satisfied she could leanr nothing more of it. She gave Callista a smile and indicated for her to follow her to where FOx now in his vulpine form lay on one of the chairs. She gave a him a smile, her eyes though set in a human face, as vulpine as Fox's.

She sat down beside his chair crossing her legs. She roughed the fur at his neck in a friendly manner, tickling the backs of his ears with a smile before laygin her hands on her knees and smiling at Callista who had followed. "Fox..." she began. "You helped to save all of us, would you speak with us? You are foxkin, like me...". She started with a soft tone. "I have met few outside of the bretheren...and yet you do not seem to be able to control your human form well...were you not taught?" she inquired her eyes sympathetic.

Callista sat on an empty chair still quite weak, but she didn't stay sat for long she picked herself up and walked over to where amas was sat at the front of the ship, "i must thank you for all of your help today," she looked at the floor, "i have nothing for you but i can give you my service, i can um clean maybe cook, i do not know, i will do whatever to help, i am ever in you service" she looked up into his eye's, and nodded
