The Ice Caves of Melnor are a vast region of caves that go deeply into the Melnor Mountains.

The ice caves are a labryinth of ice that fills an entire mountain in the Melnor Mountains. The sheer length of the caves is hard to comprehend, and it is said that no man, elf, or other creature has ever found its end, except for one. Her name was Edra, and she was a wanderer always seeking adventure. The tale is a long one, but at the end, right before her deate, she planted the Arctic Scepter of Veritas into the deepest cavern. Adventurers still seek out the staff, although none have returned. Many mages and druids go into the first few caverns to learn from the ice, for it is said that certain area speak, but no one dares to enter the labyrinths. Only those who are brave and have nothing to lose.
