Post truncation?
#1I just posted a rather lengthy item and the magical properties of the item aren't showing up. Now I *just* posted it so I can check back later to see if it changed, but a refresh didn't fix the problem. I have the orignal text to post it again if the data is lost, but it would be handy to know if there is a limit on how much one post can hold. -

#2Interesting. As a rule, for all the text fields I have them set to the 'text' string type which allows for 2^16 bytes, which may not have been enough, but will go ahead and up all of them to 2^32 so there should be no problem anymore.
Now THAT, is a good bug. -

#3Well, I went back to the post and copied the text out of the magical properties and pasted it in the description, so now it's visible, but the text in the magical properties is still not being displayed. Very odd. The text is still present when I edit the post, just not in the post. -

#4That might be because of the partial bug that is working how it is suppose to, but not how it should.
Double check to make sure you have the magical properties box checked. Manfred told me about that one. If magical properties or cursed is not checked, then anything you write in the magic part won't show up.
On my list  -

#5That did it alright. Now the Magical properties are displaying as expected. Perhaps a a temporary bandaid would be to add a little more info near the magical properties text box, something like "Properties will only be displayed if box is checked."
Thanks for the help. -

#7Hey look what an old topic I have found!
Partially, the bug is still with us. If the 'Magical' checkbox is not checked the respective section won't be displayed on the Print page.
Note: the item summary is also not present. Just add this all to your Citadel2 ToDo, Strolen. -

#8Had a walk through my old submissions, and found another strange feature - the comments are displaced/wrongly sorted on the print page.

#9I *think* this is working now.
I check to see if there is content in the magic description and print it regardless if it is checked or not.
I added a sort order to the print comments on all the pages. For the most part the default order worked since it displays them in the order they are posted. Must be some odd ones that throw it off but now it sorts by date ascending.
Let me know if that took care of it.
