   Long has the young Prince Ranfral sought to abdicate the throne of Conqaz. Should he ascend the throne, he would be forbidden to wed or meet Ladrave his friend and woman he loves. Though now, after the quest to regain the staff of Leviadan, he has grown wiser and his eyes have opened. Though he tried to gain the staff for the reason of healing his father, he knows not that his fathers life is draining by not only the Undengrolk poison, but also by a greater enemy, age. Now Ranfral sees that his father is unfitt to lead Conqaz, that his selfish needs are smaller than the fate of his kingdom, that is why he sees that it is time for the crowning.
   
   
   Ranfral left his room, fully dressed in the royal clothing of Conqaz, a blue tunic with the three trees of Azem on it. His hair was clean, his face washed, so unlike the traveller that had left so long ago. He quicly fastened his dark green velvet cape and tied his sword to his belt, the great sword of the kings. Before he exited the castle hie stopped short. "I cannot do it." he said quietly, turning to Branverd, the stewart and kight leader of Conqaz. "You have not the choice Ranfral." said Branverd. "You must stop running from your destiny, to take your place in the golden throne of Conqaz, you are no longer a boy but a king. The people wait outside, go to them." "Though I will sacrifice the friendship of a certain peasant." answered Ranfral. "You are a king now, your responsibilities lie in a whole country, not a single affair, Go to them not a selfish prince but a king." said Branverd.
   Ranfral knew how right Branverd was, pushing all thoughts of Ladrave from his head, he opened the great portals of the palace of Alwenlass and faced the great sea of faces. He was now the king.

   I don't see anything for the heroes to do here. Are you sure this is a plot? All I see is a story.
