As you may have noticed, this is a very detailed game, and some explanations are required. I have set up a scenario that so fits reality that it can make you weep and laugh (some detective work involved unless you want to wait for the book). The code is totally viable for military use (not that we?re going to kill anyone). Here?s how we do it.

    Id codes. OK. You?ve got A = 1, B = 2, C = 3.

If the letter you?re looking for isn?t there, deduce the difference between the letter that is there and the letter you expect. So, if you?re checking out Ra, and the 1st line 8th word 1st letter is D, where you are looking for an A, the difference from D to A is 3. Thus you look at the third word or letter (of the 1st line), or the 1st letter of the 3rd row, and if it is a C, or an A, this confirms Ra.

How coded an Id is depends on it?s state. If I say, ?Ra?s going on holiday.? that could mean that Ra is no longer a valid code. But because it is sunny when you go on holiday, and Ra is the Sun, it can also mean that Ra should be EMPHASISED (you find an A at the 1st line 8th word 1st letter). The words, ?total eclipse? will turn it right off for about ten minutes.

These associations make computer decoding impossible. It?s also fun, when you do it like we do it.

Develop your own code words, two or three letters is best, like Ra and Cat. You don?t have to tell me what they are. I will know (says Ra mysteriously, but he?s not sure??).

If someone is talking to YOU, they will use your valid code words. You won?t have to establish the other players code words, unless you know them already, as in my case, and Jo?s. It is mainly unnecessary to know your contacts Id, as long as they have the right code words. (you don?t have to post to communicate with us. A dolphin named Betty is tracking you at this moment. She decodes your every action, your every word. And does THAT confuse Charlemange Intelligence One!!!!! Sadly, lots of dolphins are needlessly slain as suspected A.:A.: ops, but A.:A.: dolphins can teleport, so none of our ops go down. Just their children?.. Ra blinked back the tears as they dripped on the keyboard???)

This code is surprisingly unbreakable when you use, say, four codes words per op. With the differing states of each code word, and the speed with which we change them, it impossible to keep up.

Oh, and setting up ?meetings? is very expensive, so don?t expect it to happen every day. You will come across enemy decoys pretending to be your contact on a regular basis. Your cover is blown, and you are a marked man (since this game was originally called Fantasy Star Trek, and you are ST Role N. N = AD). However, the situation is ?A? Ok. (You can also make decoy agents by decoding into some innocent bystander?s thread) You unconsciously know the ?plan? and are sticking to it to the ?letter?, heh heh. (yeah, I was Nostradamus in a past life. Lots of us can predict the future)

6 months ago, I sent out 26 copies of the game to various web sites. Who knows how many players are out there? But when you play WWIII, agoi, it plays you right back (if you get good Ids. The more common the letter, the better the Id. Agent XZ will have a VERY difficult time). (oh, we use Tarot Cards for Ids. Pick any card other than The Star and The World and the Aces, and that?s a code name to be worked on. So if you were the Prince of Wands, the code name could be POW).

?Oooh, I just know that something good is going to happen?..? sang Kate Bush. ?Utah Saints, Utah Saints?. ? shouted the Utah Saints??. Cat smiled. Something good was going to happen. Something VERY good???

    Cat turned up the stereo?.
?We are Phorever People and we don?t have to look that far to find ourselves???.?
?That?s the Shamen.? said Cat, turning it down again. ?You see, it?s not a game.? He turned up the volume?
?We are here and now among you?? ? ?Hear that?? said Cat turning it down again. ?There are thousands of us here. Take KLF, which is cute code for ELF??.? Cat turned up the stereo again. It was the next track on a compilation CD, ?The best DANCE album in the world EVER.?
?KLF is gonna rock ya?? ? He turns it down again. ?Ever hear of the Justified Ancients of Mumu, the JAMs? Get on the net and look up Principia Discordia. Buy The Illuminatus Trilogy and read it (definitely recommended for the highly intelligent). Anyway, there?s the JAMs, ELF, the A.:A.:, the Legion of Dynamic Discord, and we all work together as allies. Some of us are in more than one, but this is possible because they are all fronts for the Erisian OS (Operational Services). Brush the sleepy dust from your eyes, Commander Strolen.? Cat passes Strolen a hot black coffee.
?So who am I?? asks Commander Strolen.
?That?s for you to remember, Commander.? Cat doesn?t salute, partially because the Space Agency gave up such trivial trappings of authority millennia ago, and partially because he also has the rank of Commander.
?Here?s some stuff you need to know??
Nothing is true, anything is permissible.
It is impossible to make a mistake.
Never whistle while you?re pissing?? I never did get that last one?. Oh here?s some useful general code words?. HORSES (Eris OS)?.. ICE CREAM?? KALLISTI (for the prettiest)?. the OM sign?.. of course, we only use the root code when we?re doing a ?cowboy?, so I might use SADDLE instead of HORSES, MAGNUM instead of ICECREAM. There are some associations to KALLISTI in the history of the Trojan War?? well, you get the idea?..?
?This is all so much at once?? ? started Strolen.
?Yeah, sorry. We?ve got a war to win, and I am in a hurry. You can take your time.?
Commander Strolen sat up at hearing this. Of course, the war?.. ?Are we winning??
?Ever heard of The Art of War? The battle is won before it is started??? I?m going to hang around till you understand the ?game??, Cat winks, ?then I?ve got to be other places??? ?

OOC: One thing I forgot. A letter can be changed by the value of it?s position. Thus, an S in the 1st line 8th letter position can change by 18 to A. Similarly, an S in the 1st letter of line 18 position can change by 18 to A. Also, an S in the 18th letter (of the first line) position can change by 18 to A (or the 8th letter of the 1st word).

Cat turns up the stereo again.
?I?ve got the key, I?ve got the secret, I?ve got the key, to another way?. ? ?That?s the Urban Cookie Collective, and it?s sung by Charlemange? Cat shouts??.. The next track starts, it?s part two of the compilation CD.
??This is what KLF is about??. also known as the Justified Ancients of Mumu??.. further more known as the JAMs??. All aboard, all abound?.. the last train to Trancentral?? over and out??? ?Good, innit!!? yells Cat??.. he?s turned it up REAL LOUD??. It?s coming up to track 11 (A.:A.:)???Listen to this?.. it?s the Shamen again?? ? he screams???.
?I?m done sending to outer space, to find another race??. I?ll take your brain to another dimension?. I?ll take your brain to another dimension?.. I?ll take your brain to another dimension?.. Pay close attention.?
?Great innit?? says Cat, bouncing up and down. He loves Rave??. Actually, he loves gaRAage, tRAnce, RAve, RAndB (R?n?B), and as a Discordian, he loves DISCOs???.
?We?re UNBELIEVABLE!!!!? he cries? There was a loud knock, at the door? Strolen looked around. He was sitting at his computer, and Cat was nowhere to be seen. ?It was all a dream?..? came Cat?s thought in his mind?..

    ?NOT!!!!!?

    Interesting madness.
Too bad he left. I was looking forward to what insane (literally, not funny insane, but reality-confusion insane) threads he would spout off next.

And I could never quite establish when he was playing his "game" and when he wasn't, if he was ever really not "playing" at all. I wonder if he really is wacked out?

That is about the best summary I have seen about these threads.

well, I tried to read most of this after your BUMP, and I would like to present a highly abridged version (as I humbly see it)

    Ra: jhdiohrfhq;oihrfqijfr;qijr'cqjr

Strolen: this sounds intriguing, I'm in!

Captain Penguin: eh? why is this fun?

    Ra: jhsofho;rqhefo;qwhfoiqwhfhi

ephemeral stability: interesting, but makes little sense

    Ria Hawk: I hate code

Strolen: so, tell me more Ra

    Ra: jhqfgqerugfqo;ehtf'pqetgiprehgierwhgioewhg

Strolen: hmmm, I see. Bare with me, I am a code neophyte.

    Ra: ojwqhf;qerhfheriohgieworhgewiogtw;hgwhgwi

Captain Penguin: I still dont see why--

    Ra: kwhdfo;qewhfo;hfrohfo!! iwqhfiqerhfiqerhfiqerh!! kjhfhqerfheqrfhoqerh!!

    Captain Penguin: ok, fine.

Strolen: ummm, you may want to slow down on the PM's Ra (reading between the lines here strolen  :P)

    Ra: Ok! oirehfoeifhoeiwrhioewrhgiewrhgi'qejht'qwj3tojhq'hjti;qht

Strolen: so, this is some wild stuff! Now lets see, other than the code, how is the game actually played?

    Ra: jrehfouqeghf;ohfrouihewrgiewrg, ;dshf;heriofh

Strolen: no no, thats more code, I'm asking, how do you play--

    Ra: lkewhdoiwqh;oihyrsldkjgidg

Strolen: right, thats more code, but what happens between the--

    Ra: jqwhfuohqer;fhrewi;ghewrg

    Strolen...cod--

    Ra: ewh;ogfhorewgf, qi;hrfihriqhrv'wr

    Strolen:....-ing

    Ra: EXACTLY! ojishfhhdgdhgwgj'rjg, fhwrefh!!

    Strolen: please stop PM'ing me.

I'm finally ready to play, after re-reading this for the fourteenth time! (14=The number of pieces the body of Osiris was torn into by his fratricidal brother Set!!!)

I will re-arrange the letters in Murometz, into Murometz, to get my historical alter ego, Ilya Murometz (Mythical Hero!)

I don't have a middle name so in effect we get, "0". Zero (In saying zero divided by zero is zero, Brahmagupta differed from the modern position.)

    Where was I?

The "M" in Murometz is the 13th letter in the Alphabet. (The Templars were doomed on Friday the 13th!!!)

Using the code and some calculus, it should be obvious by now, that we get the following formula...Murometz divided by 8 (“Hermes bowed his head in thankfulness to the Great Dragon who had taught him so much, and begged to hear more concerning the ultimate of the human soul. So Poimandres resumed: "At death the material body of man is returned to the elements from which it came, and the invisible divine man ascends to the source from whence he came, namely the Eighth Sphere)...plus Marduk multiplied by 88 equals...

    Back to 8. See?

8 Billiard balls each denoting a planet, excepting Nibiru of course!!!

Code: Aristotle never liked Plato. De-code!

    -----------------------

Some kinds of nails, such as those used for defending the soles of coarse shoes, called hobnails, require a particular form of the head, which is made by the stroke of a die.--Charles Babbage (inventor of the computer. See how this works??!!)

    Die! Dice. Back to D + D.

WHO  ARE  YOU? NEW WORLD ORDER.

Look at the $5 Bill. Abraham Lincoln=B-a-s-b-i-b-l-E- M-h-m-m-m-m (See what I did there?)

    OM> Amitabha Buddha. Next. 8.

Delving into the mystery that is Ra.
Wild speculations from AG, based upon, eh, code.

Ra lived in Hampshire, UK, where he posted a lot of, eh, code to Strolen's Citadel.

As a matter of fact, the company he wrote all this from, yes, it is a company, has its own website.
    http://www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/About-us/Corporate-info/

Lo and behold, one of Richard's disiples, here to worship at our citadel of glory.

Lets take a look at where he sat writing all this code to us...
    https://maps.google.com/maps?q=260+Bartley+Wood+Business+Park,+RG27+9UP+Hook,+Hampshire,+UK&hl=en&ll=51.278697,-0.951167&spn=0.011664,0.033023&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=59.249168,135.263672&hq=260+Bartley+Wood+Business+Park,+RG27+9UP+Hook,+Hampshire,+UK&radius=15000&t=m&z=16&layer=c&cbll=51.278697,-0.951167&panoid=TiJW3_VxLL1eNrp3rGaUSA&cbp=12,182.38,,0,2.46

    Ooooh, shiny offices!

And it goes without saying that he likes drag too!

Here's some pictures of Richard in drag:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=Richard+Branson+drag&client=firefox-a&hs=N8O&rls=org.mozilla:nb-NO:official&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=7AmhUvHvM4bF4wSW5YGIAw&ved=0CDIQsAQ&biw=1920&bih=926

    Sorry for the mindless natter.

I just wanted to join in on the fun.

And of course, Ra is from the moon, like Gossamer.
    Not from Hampshire, UK.

This was all just for laughs and giggles.

And if any of it was to be true, Virgin Media is an ISP, and Ra probably just a customer.

    Tudeluuuh.
