The embattled nobles of Bytrios plead with all those who are decent and heroic of heart to come rid them of the creatures that infest their lands. A bounty of 500C will be offered to any who make assistance.

    Baron Ambrozy.
    _____

The barbarians of the north are a cruel and primitive people. Though they are skilled in combat as any other, they stand two feet taller than normal humans, and all, including the woman, are extremely muscled from a life’s work of hard labor. The barbarian tribe calling itself the Winged beasts fought a two day battle with the wretched twisted tongue orcs. They fought for control of a valuable valley. The land was abounding with natural grain, it also held a large waterfall leading into a lake on the north side of it. Though the barbarians fought hard, for every orc they slew, ten more came out of the from the ground. They slew thousands of orcs before the last man had fallen. They were overrun.

Seth, a young barbarian, though matching in stature with the strongest barbarian, was thought dead on the field of battle, though merely unconscious. When Seth awoke he was horrified by the slaughter before his eyes, went into a frenzy. He searched for half a week looking for the tribe of twisted tongue orcs, but never found them. The greatest dishonor for a barbarian was to be deprived of the honor of dying on the battle field. This was especially worst because all of his clan died in that fateful battle. Seth was enraged at himself as much as the orcs, he couldn’t believe he survived alone. He decided that he would go out into the world, discovering for himself the other ways of life that he had heard about. He had no home here, and didn’t want to stay only to be reminded of his shortcomings. So he left, and became a traveler. He traveled all of the southlands, seeing wondrous things, as well as coming into combat with the foulest of creatures. Seth could never hold his blood lust for orcs though. He went berserk in combat when he fought orcs, only wishing their extinction.
But now Seth is traveling to Bytrios, in search of adventure. Seth could never stand staying in any one place any length of time, unless absolutely necessary. It took Seth two weeks to come the large town. It was situated on a river running north to south. It had high walls, that could not easily be climbed, as well as guard towers placed strategically along the walls. Seth stood about 7’3, taller than any normal human, and was extremely well muscled. He carried his weapon, clothes and supplies only. Which consisted of dark animal skin pants and vest, with a large pelt that seemed to be a cloak. In his hand, could always be found his battle hammer. Though no normal battle hammer. The hammer was created from mithral, hardest and rarest metal of all. It also returns to the wielder on command. It was recovered when his clan slew an ice dragon. The beast slew many of the tribes good warriors, but the treasures they found were worth it. Before Seth left his northern home, he hid most of the treasure away in a cave, sealing it as he left. The barbarians couldn’t do a whole lot with gold and gems. Seth took a good amount that he could comfortably carry. Most of what he took has now been spent. Seth has become used to the many stares he receives, he looks crude and primitive indeed. That was the look he received as he came to the gate. He stood in the line of mostly merchants for the better part of an hour. When he finally made his way to the front, he was looked up and down by the guards several times.

“What business do you have hear? the guard asked as he measured up the man.

Seth held up the flyer he had received two weeks ago, not bothering to talk to him.

“Well, if that what you are ‘really’ here for, then welcome. The rules stated on the wall over there are the be obeyed at all times. Now, be on your way. The guard called out “Next! before giving Seth anytime to talk, not that he was going to though. He stopped for only a brief moment to look at the list of laws. He left quickly, seeing things like “Do not kill anyone, Do not steal from anyone else, Do not harass city officials. and other nonsense like that.

Seth made his way through town, only stopping to get more dry rations for the road, and then headed for the main part of the city, a walled off corner with a small castle in the middle of it. After he passed through the guards at that gate, merely showing the flyer again, he was lead through yet another set of walls to the main castle. Which from there, he was lead into a waiting chamber.

Loren walked slowly down the streets looking for something nice to buy. When he stepped on the flier in the mud. Hmm this looks interesting he thought. Loren walked down the street with a skip in his step and humming which many people found odd for a 60 year old wizerd to be doeing but he merely smiled broadly and continued on his way, winking at a little girl and made a flower she was holding glow. She shrieked with laughter. Loren hummed some more and showed the guard at the door his flier.

Gray wandered through the crowded streets. She hadn't been to this city before, but frankly, it didn't impress her much. She was tall, wiry woman, with a mane of silvery-blonde hair. She wore black leggings and purple top, with a pair of travel worn leather boots. Fingerless gloves covered her hands, and she wore an ankle-length black jacket that seemed to be mostly pockets. A sword was also strapped across her back; the hilt could be seen over one shoulder. She really couldn't go anywhere without attracting attention, but she had long since stopped caring. When she reached the castle, she was again stopped and again she showed them her flyer. It was tedious, but she supposed it couldn't be helped. But it looked like that last checkpoint was the last period: Gray was shown into a small chamber where some others were waiting.

Slowly the cloaked figure holding a pilgrims staff makes his way through the crowd avoiding bumping into any of the shoppers and hawkers selling thier wares.Slipping his hand inside his cloak pocket to make sure the flyer was still inside it.I hope Martun read it correctly for Martun wasn't known for his intelligence at the monastary..The cloak man stop and tilted his head listening to noise comeing from the crowd.Feeling a slight movement to his right the cloaked mans hand shot out like a snake grabbing the young pick pocket"ya wouldnt want to be doing that boy" bending down so the boy could get a deep look inside the hood. The young thief begins to tremble as he stares into two empty eye sockets."I be needing a guide to the castle and your it boy".The young thief agreed being scare out of his mind all the time thinking how did the blind man know I was lifting him, how!!

To most, the tower of Inanus was just another mysterious tower, set in the mountains in this land of abandoned manors, deep caves and dark forests. but to those who resided within, it was the nexus of their very existence. It was a place of inginuity, inventiveness and discovery for magic, as those within there, had made their sole purpose in life to unravel the mysteries of such a force. This caused a great many spells, unheard of in the majority of Eru'tan, to surface and prosper. Many experiments took place in this tower, and the power and difficulty required to perform these experiments determined whereabouts in the tower they should be tested - the bottom bieng mundane and safe, and the uppermost bieng the most fickle, yet powerful.
Inevitably - as all things inexorably happen in such places, a mishap occured. Those even in the lowest floors of this massive tower heard the screams, the cries of dismay which indicated something had gone terribly wrong. A radial sphere of flames appeared, seconds after, streaking rapidly throughout the entire floors, from top to bottom. So hot was this flame, that even stone faltered, crumbling and toppling apon many of the students of Inanus, crushing the life from them. Those who werent crushed by stone, were scorched, their very skin melting, robes catching alight, eyes bursting... The entire sect of Inanus decimated in one spell. Except for one man, bieng in the eye of that sphere of destruction and thus surviving its effects, though almost having the life crushed out of him. This one man, certainly powerful to have worked on the uppermost floor, crawled his way out of that tower, past the corpses of his brethren and out onto those steps where he fell unconscious for three entire days from exhaustion from the spell and the pain it brought him.

Let us fast-forward now. Those corpses decomposing, leaving nothing but skeletons, that tower becoming overgrown by the vines and a lush jungle which previously surrounded it, the tower itself, becoming one of those many abandoned sites in this land, full of mystery, danger and treasure - for there were many books of spells, magically enhanced against destruction that would remain, containing ideas that many mages only dream about.

But enough about that --3 years later, the present. Rumours of a dark lord have abounded. Foul creatures and cutthroats are more common then ever, and now, finally, here is the character:

Nurin stood just outside the gates of Bytrios, his shoulderlength, unkept black hair blowing in the wind. The man raises his hand to his unshaven face and chuckles slightly, wondering if the guards will even allow him to enter. He noticed an extremely large, wild looking man bieng allowed though just a couple people in front of him, so he supposed his stubble and messy locks would pale in comparison. When it was his turn, he offered both guards a princely grin and bowed to them in a courtly manner. The guards, of course, simply stared at him impassively, and Nurin sighed somewhat, crossing his arms over his plain black, lace-up shirt and peering at them. One guard spoke finally, in what must be the hundredth time he had repeated this phrase just today: "What business do you have here?"
Nurins gaze shifts over to the poster on the wall, glancing at it briefly before turning back to reply, "Well, I'm certainly not here to Kill anyone, steal from anyone, harass anyone, cause general disturbance... ... ..." He continues spitting off the list - having a photographic memory was certainly good for bieng playfully arrogant in such a manner. As he finishes, the guards simply glowered at him, the one who asked him his business muttered something undeniably rude beneath his breath, before nodding him in, "Get in there, but cause a ruckus and i'll gut you personally." Nurin's eyes widen and he scoots in, chuckling. Well, some people just had no sense of humour. Almost unconsciously, he bends down to scoop up a scrap of paper blowing in the wind before it can get away, and he reads the notice curiously. Hmm, 500 would be a nice sum to have in his pocket. The man idly feels beneath his clothing for the seemingly normal dagger he had slipped in - good thing the guards thought him enough of a fool not to search the man. But then, they probably didnt search anyone. Finally, though, he makes his way down towards the center of this place, idly noticing that large man is heading in the same direction, and he mimics his actions in showing the guards that paper which he had luckily picked up, making his way to the waiting room. He enters the room with a mockingly regal walk, hands crossed in front of him before he moves to stand next to that barbaric fellow, grinning widely up at him. Well, this will be fun, won't it?

... ... Perhaps this quest will allow Nurin to regain his trust in himself when using magic. Perhaps he will eventually find himself enough courage to call upon more than mundane spells, and to even dabble once again in creating new spells, too. Hopefully that mask of childishness and games will fall to once again surface the true nobility and power, of the sole survivor of the ruin of the temple of Inanus.

((OOC: *Shakes hands* Phew, I should write a book :P that was surprisingly fun to write >.>; ))

Gray stood in the shadowed back of the room. No one had noticed her yet, which was just fine with her. It gave her more chance to study them. The big, wild looking fellow looked interesting. The newcomer, the slightly unkempt one, also looked like he would be interesting. Gray really couldn't tell if he was really as much of a buffoon as he appeared to be, or if he was playing. She looked around at the others. A very mismatched set, indeed. She wondered if they would end up working together.

As she left the town behind Ami stopped upon the crest of the hill and turned back. A hatred burned in her green eyes. She turned her shoulder against her anger and the wind as she traveled on. She knew where she was going as she looked at the flyer. "Cowards, all of them!" she cursed at the village.
Ami was always an outcast, simply for the fact that she was half elven. When she was little, the other children always teased her for having pointed ears and people would give her evil glares as she walked through the town. The only person that she regretted leaving behind was Geris, a village elder that took her in when her mother became ill. Geris accepted her for who she was, and even allowed her to find her father a few years back. She gripped the longbow her father had given her, as she made her way across the land, always ready, the way he had taught her. She didn't regret leaving her father. He gave her some provisions for the trip, along with her twin blades that were strapped parallel across her back at an angle from her right shoulder, but she was never close to him. He wanted her to live among humans, and she resented him for it.
After traveling for three days Ami arrived at the gates of Bytrios. She noticed a man who had the same flyer as she pulled it out from under her green cloak. Her sleek black hair rested upon her shoulders, a stark contrast to her fair skin. She examined the flyer again while she waited in line. The man was further ahead of her, but his height would make him easy enough to follow to wherever she needed to get to.

The guard called out "Next!" as Ami approached him. "What business do you have here?" Ami stood up as straight as she could before speaking.

"My name is Amithraniel and I am here on important business." She stated as she held out the flyer for the man to see. He nodded. She was half afraid he would laugh.

"The rules stated on the wall over there are to be obeyed at all times. Now, be on your way." He stated as if he had said it many times before.

When she was inside the walls she scanned for the large man she saw earlier, almost afraid that she lost him, Ami finally spotted him buying rations off a ways. Not trying to catch up with him, she saw him walk towards the castle over the heads of the other people in the streets.

"Well that'd make sense." She though a loud as she headed for it. When she finally pushed her way past some peddlers and beggars to the castle wall, she showed her flyer to the guards and was led into a chamber where some others were waiting.

Nurins gaze casts backwards at the arrival Ami, and he offers a wide smile and a quick wink to the woman before moving to watch back to the front whilst awaiting. His gaze pauses however, apon noticing that other woman in the shadows. Hm, he did not notice her before... Ah well, that smile, still on his lips from the offering to Ami, widens into a hearty grin at Gray before he continues his staring forth - well, there are certainly a few interesting people in here.

Loren's mood had changed almsot instantly when he passed through the door, it was like a mask falling off. The bright eyes that were filled with happiness sharpened as if the passage of second had piled on decades of hard work and battles hard faught. Loren straightened his back and glanced around his room at his companions. Some one must of gone to great lengths to bring this many adventurers here.

Seth looked around at all the newcomers, just a bunch of scrags by the looks of it, but then again he had learned not to view a person by their appearence. One he found out the hard way... The doors on the chambers that everyone didn't come in from swung open. A small group of men came forth all wielding spears and swords, the biggest of them, most likely their leader spoke.
With clear defiance in his voice he stated,"You will all give your weapons to me and be searched for any other weapons. don't like it, then leave now."
There were two guards to a person, waiting for them to relenquish their weapons, then to search them for any still hidden.
The barbarian, siezing up everyone in the room, soon became comfortable that he could handle anyone here with his bear hands, relenquished his battle hammer. The guard who took it almost landed on his butt, not expecting as much weight from a battlehammer, but he soon gave it the proper strength application and straightened up. The other guard searched him, and after finding nothing else the went back to the leader of the little group.

Gray looked at them all coldly. She wasn't too keen on giving up her weapons, but she did want the money. She relinquished her sword, and pulled a dagger out of her boot and handed them to the man. The dagger was replaceable, and no one but her could use the sword, and she still had one or two tricks up her sleeve. "That is all my weapons. Is a search really neccessary?" They assured her it was, so she grudgingly allowed it, although she point-blank refused to take off her coat. The search finished, revealing no weapons as she had said, but the fellow looked a little puzzled as he moved to the next person.

As the guard moved on Loren smiled, "Well now young lad, you really think a frail old man like myself is that much of a threat?" Seeing the confused Luke on the yound lad's face, Loren just smiled broadly and handed over a large wooden staff with a bright blue crystal mounted on the top. He sumbitted to being frisked, "Listen laddy next time your hadn goes up that high your going to find out what good spells come from human hands." The young soldier looked shocked but Loren just burst out laughing. "Now give me my walking stick back laddy."

Ami reluctantly handed over the longbow that she had been holding, then her quiver of elven arrows. She drew her twin swords and handed them, handle first to the guards, then removed a dagger from it's sheath on her right hip, and another from her left calf. Then one guard patted her down as the other went through her bag of rations.
"What's this?" the one searching her questioned as he drew a gem attached to a chain from her pocket. The gem looked like solid flowing water, giving off a soft blue glow. As he held it, the gem was cool to the touch.
"It is no weapon." Ami stated, angry at his interest. "It is mearely a trinket." She held out her hand, waiting for the guard to return it. He dropped it into her palm. Once it touched her skin the stone began to perspire, and she quickly returned it to her pocket. Being without weapons around all of these strangers made her nervous, especially since she was standing next to the hulking man that she'd followd here. He looked as if he could uproot a tree with his bare hands.

Nurin allowed the briefest of sighs to slide from his lips - and he had done so well to keep that dagger, too. All the same, when it came to his turn, he simply slides a hand behind his cloak and withdraws that weapon. The hilt, a plain brasslike alloy, shows sign of wear and steady use, but the bright metallic blade gleams as though newly forged and polished. Obviously an enchanted weapon of some sort - but then, most all of these people weapons probably had some sort of an enchantment on them. The man relenquishes his blade without a fuss, nor with a word at all. He may seem a complete childish fool, but he knew there were times for such things, and now was not such a time. He does not even speak as the guard searches him, finding nothing in those clothes, and finding only miscellaneous items such as rose petals, fine powders and the like in the various pouches on his belt. As that guard moves on, Nurins lips curl into a wide smile, as he often does when he feels he has accomplished something.

When all of the party's weapons were conviscated, the baron stepped forward with another two guards with him. He took a few moments to size up the group. After looking at each of them he took another few steps forward to be in the middle of the chamber.

"Welcome, and thank you all for coming. This is a most important matter. Our scouts have reported that there has been an unusual amount of activity to the east of our town. There have been many carts coming in and not leaving. We suspect that a base is being built, or is built somewhere to the east of our city. What we want..." The baron was cut short at the sound of a squeky voice.

A small kid entered the chamber holding a sling and a piece of parchment, closer inspection reveals that the parchment is the flyer for this little gathering. " I wants to kill somes orcies, I'll kill 'em all!" The little boy spoke with pride.

A long rolling laugh came from the baron as he responded. "Oh little timmy, your time will come, when your a few years older. Then you can help your town." Another laugh rolled forth.

"But I want to help.." Timmy spoke in utter helplessness.

"You will help us when you are old enough, now, guards please take him home." A guard went towards him, but before he could get a hold of the boy he ran off, "I wants to help." Timmy spoke as he sobbed.

"Ah, little Timmy, so adventurous. Anyway, where was I...Oh yes, What we want from you is to go find out if there is a base there, and if so, destroy it with any means possible. I will give you two hundred and fifty now, and the rest when you return. We would send our own men, but we bearly have enough to safely defend our walls. Now, if there aren't any questions, I would advise that all of you work together. This will be no easy task, I am also telling you, you need to leave tomorrow morning for this."
The baron took a step back, relieved that his main speech was over, awaiting any questions.

Nurin studied the child as he ran into the room, the smile apon his face fading slightly and a slightly more serious expression etches apon his features. As the child leaves, though, his smile returns, and he turns back to watch the baron. At the comment on whether there are questions, Nurin pipes up from the middle of the crowd, "We have to pay for our own lodgings?" Hmph, well if he is forced to have to stay the night here, he doesnt want to have to spend coins from that two-fifty just to find a place to eat and sleep!

Loren listened carefuly, from what the baron said this seemed like overkill. He bet any on of them solo could take out a goblon camp with the advantages of surprise and perhaps an enchantment or two. He twisted the thought over in the head, it was obvious he wasn't telling us everything no noble ever did. It would scare off some of the group to find easier jobs. But he kept his pondering to himself. Loren just nodded his head and picked up his money. When the other yound lad spoke up about rooms and food, Loren agreed with him.

The baron looked at the man, and stated bluntly, "Well...I'll provide logings this first night, and only this night. I shall provide nothing but the rest of your gold when you return. Go to the Green Dragon, it's on the east side of town. There's a bar there, you can all talk of your plans there until you go to sleep. Damien!" The baron yelled as a short puggy man came forward with five sheets of parchment, handing them to the baron. "Alright, give these to the barkeep and he'll provide your rooms, now, I'm quite busy so if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way. The baron walked back through the doors he came through, all but two of the guards followed. The two who stayed behind went to the corner of the room, and getting all the weapons, carried them to their respective owners, as well as the bag of gold.

Seth looked at the others, and in a scrachy deep voice he spoke to them. "I will need to buy a few things before I head to the inn, but I do suggest we talk, and go about this mission together." After he talked he merely walked out of the room with his large battlehammer and bag of gold, which he soon put inside of his cloak. He headed to a nearby supply store and bought a few things he lacked. A backpack was one of those main things, but he also bought two torches, a flask of oil, 50 feet of rope, some more dry rations, and a small sleeping bag. His previous one was cut to pieces on the way here, he was jumped by two highway bandits, which he quickly disposed of.

Nurin gave a courtly bow as he was offered his dagger back, and snatched it, tucking it back undearneath his cloak. After retrieving his money, he makes his way out, also heading for a random shop. With only a few rude remarks and witty pranks, he manages to purchase rations for several days time, basic cleaning and cutting equipment, and several other odds and ends which he believes may be useful. Now, in one messy bundle in his arms, he makes his way for the green dragon. He Ponders on the words of that enormous man, and nods to himself - not only does the person seem a brute, but he has a wit, a common sense about him. Nurin enters the inn and makes his way to that large table, taking a seat opposite Loren, grinning at him before spreading that jumbled mass of belongings in front of him. An expression of childish delight curls onto his features as he lowers one hand, touching an index finger against a wrapping of hard biscuits and uttering "Biscuits." softly. Several seconds after he does this, that packet of biscuits compliantly fades from view, disappearing into nothingness, and his hand moves onto the next item - a wedge of yellow cheese. He utters its name and, lo and behold, it too, disappears. He continues this until all items are categorised and gone. Hmph, who needs a backpack when you can use 'pocket' dimensions - a nice, simple technique learned by one of his bretheren all those years ago. Of course, this 'ritual' would look quite odd from another persons point of view.

Once he had finished sorting his items, he obtains a bottle of red wine, pouring himself a glass before peering up at the wizened mage opposite him, finally speaking to him, "Well then, friend. I suggest we leave names until everybody else is here, so we dont have to repeat ourselves. So what brings you to this 'quest', hm? Glory? Greed? Honour? Adventure? boredom?" He trails off, and idly studies that slip of note which they were supposed to give to the barkeep whilst awaiting an answer.

Gray retrieved her weapons, and went out to go buy the few things she'd need that she didn't have. Some food, some basic medical herbs and bandages, a few other things. What wouldn't fit in her many and capacious pockets fit into a bag she carried. Most of the pockets were of the type with a clasp, and she was supremely unconcerned with pickpockets. Indeed, as she was making her was to the inn where the were to meet, she felt someone try to rifle through one. She spun around and caught his hand. He hadn't gotten anything, so she just silently glared at him, then let him go. He scampered off, not sure whether or not to be alarmed. Gray finally found the tavern, and ordered a drink. Then she sat down at the table with the other two.

Seth made his way to the tavern without much difficulty. The building was two stories tall, and looked a little run down. When he entered he spotted the other people sitting at a large table in the back. But before he stops at the table he heads over to the bar. Pulling out the sheet the baron gave him he showed it to the barkeep. "What's this?" The barkeep snatched the paper out of Seths hand and scanned it's content. "Arrrg, the day I pay off my debt to that deciever is the day I move out of this town...Alright, I'll have your room ready in a few minutes."

"Those four over there," pointing to the others,"They all have the same deal."
"The rage on the man's face was visible, but he held it back. "Fine, I'll ready their rooms, but they'll not step foot in a room till I see there papers." The barkeep stomped off, calling a barmaid to tend the bar. Seth ordered a drink and sat down.

"I've arranged for our rooms, just show the man your papers when he asks for 'em." Seth took a long pull on his drink. "As for anything we find, shall we divide it evenly, or first person who graps it gets it?"

Gray handed her paper to the barkeep without turning around. "I say evenly, unless someone's being useless."

Nurin simply raised that glass to his lips to indicate to the old man that he already had a drink, and he takes a small sip before lowering the glass to the table once more, "Me? A bit of everything, I suppose. Hm, apart from fame. I dont want to be known." He offers a faint shrug, then shifts his gaze to the woman who sat down at the table, offering an overly pleasant smile to her, "And welcome, m'lady, to the rag-tag group." He pauses momentarily, then opens his mouth to continue his words, but halts apon the arrival of the blind man. His words now alter to address this pilgrim, "Ah, the pleasure is mine, at least in my case." He nods now at the arrival of yet another of the group - that large barbarian he had basically followed since his arrival. "Well, we're waiting on just one now, arent we?" He pauses, listening to their conversation of how to divide the spoils of this adventure, then he sighs faintly, butting in, "Perhaps for the most part it could be divided evenly, but what of things useless to others?" He shifts, raising a hand to pat the hulking barbarian heartily on the back, "I mean, wise as you may be, friend, I doubt your going to be needing a book of spells now, are you?"

Ami roamed the streets, searching for a couple last minute rations, a whetstone, and a water flask. Figuring that she had some time, Ami roamed the city, as she had never been to such a large place reminding herself of how many more thieves might be here. She stopped against a building checked all of her pockets to make sure she wasn't missing anything. Then Ami removed her Fontis Stone from her pocket, shielding it's glow to prevent attention. She slipped it in her quiver so it fell to the bottom, safe from any pickpockets. She also checked her gold, happy to have received some up front to add to what she had, and decided to buy a blanket so sleeping outside would be a little more comfortable then the trip here. She folded it and with a strap of leather she tied it to her back under her cloak so she wouldn't have to carry it through the streets, and it wouldn't block access to her weapons. She decided it would be good to head towards the green dragon. As Ami walked down the street absently looking at what the other people had for sale, a thief attempting to flee the authorities, plowed straight into her. Ami fell into a stand of jewelry, scattering the wares along the side of the street as the thief ran off. Wincing, she pulled herself to her feet, and turned around to assess the damage. She turned to the man selling the wares.
"I am SO sorry, there was a man and he ran into me and--" She stopped as the peddler's face turned red with anger. "I'll help you clean it up." She attempted to assure him as she bent over to pick up the stand and began putting the jewelry back on the stand as best she could. She could feel the gazes of the gathering crowd upon her back. as she was picking up some bracelets she noticed that her arrows had spilled out upon the ground. She snatched them up but then remembered the Fontis Stone. She wildly removed the quiver from her back and reached her hand down to the bottom feeling for her precious gem. Nothing.
"Oh crap!" She tossed her arrows into the quiver and set it next to her. She then proceeded to rummage through the jewelry upon the ground until she found it's glow. She picked it up by the chain and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Keep working!" the peddler snapped at her as he began to properly arrange the jewelry on the stand. Ami went to put the stone in her pocket. "Hey! You destroy my stand, then you steal from me!" The peddler exclaimed.
"No no, This is mine, I dropped it when I fell." She held up the gem. The man snatched it from her hand.
"Don't make me call the guards!" He threatened
"Here, I'll give you 100 gold for the gem and the mess I caused." She whispered below the crowd. Knowing that the others were probably wondering where she was, and she was in a hurry to get away from the growing amount a gawkers. She pulled the coin from her pouch and the peddler's eyes grew huge with greed.
"Fine." He said quickly as he dropped the stone in her hand and she gave him the coin. Ami dashed the gem into her pocket, and wiped her wet hand on her cloak, as she picked up her quiver of arrows and headed off towards the Green Dragon.

Ami walked into the door and easily spotted the table of motley travelers. She stopped off at the bar and handed the man her paper from the Baron, then proceeded to the table as the man behind the counter gave out a groan behind her.
"Sorry I'm late." She wearily apologized

Seth looked around at the small group, they looked like a band of hooligans, not stout adventurers, but this is what he had to work with so he accepted it.

"Well, one final vote on dividing the treasure found at this place, evenly, or first to grab it gets it..." Seth let them think for a moment. He was in no rush, they needed to get to sleep if they were to get going the next morning. Seth brought his drink up the final time, completly draining the mug, "Hurry with you thoughts, we all will be needing a good sleep 'fore tomorrow."
