Thought I'd draw attention to this one: it's pretty poor and I agree with all the negative comments that have been posted, but it's developing into a flame war. Might it be better to cut the submission, given its lack of quality and blatant unoriginality?

Drizzt wasn't a Paladin to start with he was a normal, chaotic good, drow fighter of Ellistra(I think that is right). He came across a party on accadent and well it went from there one day he struck a shrine of Torm and thus as his punishment he was made a paladin of El.
Equipment
2x Flametounges, Chainmail+3 (Armor of Comfert and functions as a ring of protection +3 on certain spells), Portable Hole, Holy Symbole to El.
Appearance
Drizzt is a 5'8" Drow with the normal deep purple skin color, Red eyes, and white hair. He wears his armor almost at all times, being it is armor of comfert, and caries at least one flametounge. Other than that he wears nice cloths and keeps himself nice and presentable.
Background
Drizzt as far back as he can remember was raised by a human family that raised him like there own there he did get treated bad but nothing like when he left out on his own. His ventures have take him many places around Farun, most of which have been centered around a town called Acade(Pretty sure it really isn't there by wizards). He has even been to Shadow Dale, where him and his party have some land. Drizzt has fallen in love with a Human Cleric, who ventures with the party, by the name of Sapphire. Drizzt' life has been far from dull since he meet this party but they are all...his friends. Drizzt has died twice, one of which he was riped in half by a giant undead, DM saying natural 20 natural 20 natural 20 cosecutive hit. The other time he fell through a trap in the floor that was covered by an illusion. (Might at more later.)
Notes
7th level(skills and powers) can cast 3 level one pally spells 3 cure light wounds and 2 2nd level spells. (Stats Str:18 split to S:16 M:18/75 Dex:18 split A:16 B:20 Con:15 split H13 F:17 Int:15 split R:13 K:17 Wis:13 split I:11 W:15 Cha:17 split L:15 A:19...just remember he started off as a fighter not a pally) He is gradualy working to his Goddesses AL of Chaotic Good from his Lawfull Good.

Don't plagiarize! I'm pretty sure I've already seen a drow warrior named Drizzt from Faerun.
Other issues:
-This is a non-system site. Don't give stats.
-What are "Flametongues"?
-What is "Armor of Comfort"?
-What is a "pally"?
-Who are El, Torm, and Ellistra? (Gods, presumably, but not everybody might surmise that.)

I know that there was a series of books set in Forgotten Realms that featured a drow warrior named Drizzt D'Ourden.

Faerun is the Forgotten Realms. Drizzt Do'urden is a major character in that setting.

First off Chill out a little, From what I understand any respectable gammer knows that pally is paladin...Elestra...was supposed to be Elestrae...the Drow goddess...Torm is also not an abr. Yeah ok Drizzt is a famous Ranger from Forgotten Realms...dur...but hey what do you what when you are rased by humans...hmm...what does a human famiily name a drow...Oh Drizzt cause that is the only drow name they know...but anyways this is my first AD&D charecter ever so I am very proud of it...ok Flametounge is a magical +1 longsword that against regenirating creatures it goes to +2, aviean, flamable, or cold-type +3, and undead +4...the armor...all that is is Chainmail+3 that a character would be able to sleep in...I do believe that was everything...Oh one last think this was something about NPCs right...well you will need stats for an NPC, non player character.

I had it in Guidlines about stats. They are fine as an afterthought if the submitter thinks they are necessary. The way they are presented is perfectly inline with what I expect if stats are included. Concise and don't take up any room.
Very interesting thought about the naming of the character. It makes perfect sense in the context you used it. Put us off a little perhaps because we are non-game specific and non-world specific.
Makes you think about my own game. Names could be used better. Why wouldn't commoners name there offspring after famous heroes, or even villians. Would be fun to have the villians name keep popping up around the PCs.

Draco, follow your own advice and chill out.
1. I have never heard the term "pally" used before in relation to paladins
2. I didn't know that the Drow had a goddess named Elestrae.
3. I had no intention of dissing on your character, it was simply constructive criticism.
4. About the stats: What if I don't use D20 stats, aye?

Whoa that is like sooo Plagarizism I think that is spelled right. Drizzt is also a secret Char from the game Baulder's gate. He is a drow that is like super human. Just saying good submission but it has already been taken and created into a game. Love him though and is a good char will use it thanks for the remembering echo.

Ok whpever it was who said something about me plagorizing...you are such a dork. This isn't plagorizing the only thing that that Drizzt and my Drizzt have in commen is the fact that they are both Drow...wow that is really plagorizing. If you really want to go into plagorizing then you might as well arrest me cause my name is John and I know that I am not the first person with that name...so don't even start with me about that kinda plagorizing.
