corupts it wielder by tainting their emotion

It appears as a normal sword. However everytime it strikes and opponent. It obsorbes their life. And the sword slowly corupts its weilder by tainting their soul by first killing off emotion. then by making them power hungry and Hateful.

A female caracter pure of heart stumbles upon it. She slowly becomes corupter and becomes a leader of a undead cult. Betraying all that she once loved and vise versa.

Magical Properties: This item is cursed.
Steals the life of an opponent to strengthen itself and the weilder. Slowly corrupts(see description) and the weilder is deadly addicted to the state of ectacy that the sword puts them in when they are givin more power.

   Bland. Unoriginal. Munchkin.

Where did this sword come from? What does it want? Can it be discarded somehow?

   Magus, this is SO cliche.
I mean, come on! This has been done hundreds of times before, if maybe not in this exact form.

Isn't hate an emotion? if it kills off emotion then how wold it cause hate?
   Magus Submitted: 12.14.03 19:55 [ EDIT ]

That is a good point. what I meant was that it kills of all emotion as in they feel no sympathy, love, friendship. etc, Hate is also an emotion is is thus killed of as well, so it was a flaw for me to put that in. What I really meant was that they feel a urge to kill.

   *sigh*

Comments need to be cleaned at the very least.

I am beginning to wonder about a couple posters.

Magus, elfkin, Pirate Penguin....I need to look at IPs and see if a couple are the same person sometimes.
