   I've seen other sites that have a sign-up forum for the rp's, where you can post your actual character bio sheet, as not to clutter the actual rp.
   
   Also, you could have an rp discussion forum, where you would say stuff ooc there for things in the specific rp, so as not to clutter up the rp also.

   We've thought about the whole OOC thread thing, but since some OOC chatter has to happen and is game specific...

   Of course, this site just has freeform roleplaying as an afterthought. It is primarily an idea think tank for roleplaying games material.
   
   For organization, someone could create an OOC or admin thread for any game thread they have in that area.

   This is how we did it in the old days. It worked very well for us because we could not create so many subforum areas. I expect it will work for the forum if needed.
