#1From a vast area, she walks in quietly and bows.
"My name is Danielle Dragoon, and I've come here to start at a new pace. I have nothing more to say." -
...
#2"Very descriptive. So you're a she... Are you a human? Elf? Penguin? Half-dragon? Faerie?" A reddish-brown dragon with silvery highlights pokes his snout out the door of his lair, a former stable. "At any rate, welcome. Have a doughnut." A long tail whips out of the door, balancing a box of doughnuts on the long, stinger-like spike on the end, and offers the pastries. -
...
#3Or an exit sign. We likes those. Welcome in any case. -
...
#4A handsome elf stepped out to the right of her and bowed. "I am Haethar Silverfire, Keeper of the Gates. It is my pleasure, to welcome you to Strolen's Citadel." -
...
#5Wow. Haethar and Danielle are the Not-Detailed Twins. They're like the Super Twins, but they aren't detailed!
"Not-Detailed Twins, unite!"
"Take form of...A thing!"
"Take form of...Another thing!" -
...
#6"Depends what I'm allowed to be at this place. Some other places I've been two don't allow certain types of creatures. It took me a while to respond since I wasn't home lately. Thank you for your welcoming though.." -
...
#7Be anything you like. We don't care what you are. -
...
#8Lesse...
We have a penguin who happens to be a pirate captain (Pass the grog, Cap'n).
We have a Benevolent Ruler, in the form of Manfred.
We have Strolen, who defies description.
We have me, an ancient mithril-infused fire-breathing dragon who lives in one of the Citadel's ex-stables.
And we have still others, some mundane, some bizarre.
As the Cap'n said, be whatever you wish - or whatever you truly are! -
...
#9"I see.. well when I used to roleplay by this name I was.. a loner.. and I spent must of my time with the Dragons.. I guess I'm a human will a little extra strength." -
...
#10You don't have to write in parentheses, you know. We aren't really roleplaying right now.
By the way, I like the avatar. -
...
#11In character out of character, does it matter? -
...
#12"It really doesn't matter to me. I always right in parentheses and I'm used to it. But that doesn't matter. Thank you for your compliment." -
...
#13Hey CP. Parentheses = () hehehe
Quotes are fine too. ;)
A human with extra strength is good. Need somebody to clean the stables and plant new grass from all the spilled grog.
Do you mind doing some manual labor? I would have Hercules clean the stable but he hasn't showed up yet. -
...
#14Right. Not parentheses, quotation marks.
See, even I mess up sometimes. -
...
#15Hi, Danielle. I’m new here too, but it seems like a really cool site. Indeed, this is the closest I’ve come to being worshipped in a long time. Much as it’s nice to be worshipped, it’s also nice to be treated as an equal, which so far, I have been, and have been given no indication that this will change. I am new to RPG Forums, so I haven’t got a clue about protocol, but at the last forum I was at (a Magic site), long threads by me were discouraged, which isn’t the case here (rather the opposite). Thanx, Strolen and crew. -
...
#16*absently chews on a wooden post until the end is sharp, and rams it into the ground* Looks like we might need to expand the Citadel a bit, Strolen. -
...
#17"The.. Citadel? I guess so. I never heard of such a thing." -
...
#18That would be this place. Kind of like a castle, kind of like a mansion, stuffed to the brim with strangeness.
