Mysian Lengths
All Agera work with a base-8 system (though of course, in GMing, for simplicity, I don't). Accordingly, the Mysian system of measuring is based on 8s. From dolon to dolmelphion, the system is fairly straightforward, but, traditionally, after dolmelphion, it becomes a touch more complicated.

Dolon- Approximately half a foot
Medolon- Eight doloni (4 feet)
Belaon- Eight medoloni (8 feet)
Iagghebelaon- Eight belaoni (16 feet)
Dolmelphion- Eight iagghebelaoni (32 feet)
-the break- (there are no measurements between these)
Chistre- One-hundred dolmelphioni (3200 feet)
Mechistre- Two chistri (6400 feet)
Belchistre- Two mechistri
Voniste- Formally, eight belchistre, but is used to denote 'a very long way' or 'really, really far'

Hm. I like the names you came up with for the measurements.
But why base-8? Do they have 8 fingers? Unless you came up with the concept of base-8, I don't think this is enough info.
Also, I would double check on the math. Maybe I am being silly, but eight meladoni (4 feet each) should be 32 feet, not 8 feet.
After the first two you seem to double the value, but say it should be eight times the value.
Also, having the break multiply by 100 is unusual for a culture that works in base 8. Maybe that's 'the point' but if so you need a reason.
Using your same measurements I would get something like (below) and not need any break with different math :)
Dolon- Approximately half a foot
Medolon- Eight doloni (4 feet)
Belaon- Eight medoloni (32 feet)
Iagghebelaon- Eight belaoni (256 feet)
Dolmelphion- Eight iagghebelaoni (2048 feet~ half a mile ~ 1 km)
-no break needed-
Chistre- eight dolmelphioni (16384 feet ~ 4 miles ~ 7 km)
etc.
I can revote on this if you make changes.
Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Zy on this one. the whole 'break' deal, unless explained, seems stilted and lacking common sense. While one could argue the same about most of the Empirical System of measures too, but at least those are uniformly un-uniform.
You mean Imperial?
Face it, not everything is going to be 'neatly wrapped up'. Your ancestors in the dank woods and plains of Eurasia (or America, as the case may be) measured things in the lengths of the most convenient thing on hand... Hands. That led us to the system of measurements we use in the U.S., which is, to say the least, nonsensical.
I'm going for a somewhat realistic system in this- the ancients might not necessarily be that logical and clean about how they measure things. This sounds like an excuse, but this was actually my thought process in creating this.
I really don't like it when everything seems to work out perfectly to a certain logicality... That's just not how it happens in history.
