[Interest Thread] - Cosmic Era RP

1. [Interest Thread] - Cosmic Era RP

   #1

   First of all, hello! (again)
It's been a long time since I've visited last, let alone had anything to contribute.

I remember reading lots of Scras' Cosmic Era entries back then and they still seem to be pouring forth frequently.

If Scras is okay with it and we can get a group together that posts regularly, would anyone like to?

I'm a better player than DM, and I approve

Honestly, I would very much prefer if we didn't let Old Cairo die :/ but if Kassy was willing to GM the trip to Pretoria, I'm game.

4. Re: [Interest Thread] - Cosmic Era RP

I'd be okay with either, but it would be nice to carry on the storyline in some manner.

I am super cool with bringing Kassy on as Arjan, and continuing Old Cairo

I do apologize for letting things fall off in that game

   Yay for Old Cairo :)
I personally am very grateful that you're willing to GM and invest in a game, Scras :)

Sorry about the delayed reply. Running the café is not so easy...

I'm not sure about DM'ing a series that is already running for you guys. I could give it a try but I'm super nervous about ruining something that someone else has created because I'm not very confident as a DM.

Well then, how about playing our Amazonian driver and protector?

I think we have potential for Kassy to run her own interpretation on a CE game, and she can play Arjan if she wants (or another character we pick up in Pretoria)

We can do both, creativity feeds creativity

Just a heads-up: am away for the weekend.

Hmm, I think  that it might be best if I join in an existing campaign as a player for now. Just to get back into the groove of things if that is okay?

Scras already said it's OK to join :)

Awesome sauce. Would an OC concept be okay?

I'm currently reading through what you guys have written so far and will take a look at some more of Scras' CE stuff for inspiration/world/background intel.

OCs are fine, just message me the details, and you can meet up with the marauders when they arrive in Pretoria, South Africa

    Will do, Sras.

Still reading the RP so far. Might not have it done for a couple of days, but I will keep checking in here.

    Did Blue share the message?

    Did Blue share the message?

Yup. You all know now that there may be cake. Yay! Cake! :jester:

With the RP's current pace, any withholding of info may make it crawl even slower, so let's not :D

    Okay, so;

I have read the Old Cairo RP so far and am now up to date.

It has been a little more technical than I first thought and I haven't read enough of Scras' Cosmic Era stuff, recently at least, to feel fully comfortable within the setting.

That said, I would still like to try. Although, I'm not sure what I'd like to play at the moment.
