   The premise is simple, to write a short story comprised of no more and no less than seven scenes, and only having seven (named) characters in it.
   
   I do seem to enjoy minimalism

   A short story with seven named characters! That is a lot of named characters for short story.

   Not that many, by named characters, anyone who is given a name takes up one of those slots. If the antagonist mentions their mother, that's one of the seven, even if said mother is not ever physically in the story. She's taken one of the slots
