I am using a LOT of Strolen material in my Home game!
#1Ok so I'm going in a dif direction w/ my Home game. The Stolen(Strolen) World(which is based on Scras' Star Whales) is going to be the final destination not the beginning.The short story for now is a Multi Dimensional/Planer war is now the backdrop. The first monthly game went AMAZINGLY well. My players were engaged in a way I havent seen in a LONG time. Due to very heavy RPing on their part, the first 45 min I had planned stretched into the entire 4 hour game. I am THRILLED by this! But none of this gets me to my point.
In the coming months, I plan on HEAVILY influencing my game with material from here. The first game only used vals outstanding Celestial Dragon suit, but they only just found it at the end of the game, they have no idea what it is. The next game will be using a lot of dif Arctic creatures from here as the players are going to be travelling through a horrible living Winter storm. Will be reporting back on which ones I have used and looking for suggestions in the coming months of subs to use. Mageeks recent water dungon is Def going to be used at some point. For the June game I am looking for suggestions for a plane/city/nation and a Library. The weirder the better. also need a few non armor non weop. magic items as the power level in the world is VERY high just about anything is poss.
I am very excited at the idea of getting your subs into actual play and hope you are too.As the setting is so vast I will be able to use almost anything
(Am full up on the arctic stuff , so I don't need any thing for that) -

DEf going to go in a Twighlite Zone direction but might just make it a little eerie not dark, Oh well I have a whole month to think about it.

#3Purism is overrated. Make Taqukaq as grim as needed for the setting. And do tell how it all goes! :thumbup: -

I'm really torn on this . Altering the material I'm using from here defeats my purpose. My gut right now says, use T as writen but give it a menacing tone that never comes out. I may end up deciding on exactly what to do at the table. As I said I have a whole month to think about it.
Def planned on reporting back!!!!!!! -

I can't, of course, speak for your purposes specifically, but making alterations as needed is part and parcel of what this place is for. I'd hardly expect any of my idea to fit in someone else's game unaltered. -

Oh I know I can do what ever I want(I'm honestly only interested in pleasing myself). I'm just sort of thinking that I WANT to make as little alteration as poss.Making it a TRUE Stolen (Strolen) World. -

Game went short' only got in Glacier Fin and Stamagast, they avoided the rest :thumbdown: (The Stamagast TERRIFIED THEM!)
Need "goblin" ish types and mybe a dungeon idea or two(First L) needs to be "Old school" feel -

Perfect for my new Mega dungeon to support ecology, Need them to Be SLIGHTLY more aggressive but otherwise great!
HOWEVER still need original "goblins" for history of mega dungeon. (the dung work perfectly as current inhabitants, plus I was already planning on using lots of types of giant bats)

#20Ok in currant game a roving band From "Knocker's" cleaned party while in dungeon and one had a shield with the name on it for advertizing. -
