   Hey everyone! I just wanted to put a question out there for fun and to start discussions.
   
   If you could be any fantasy race, which would you be and why? Note that in this instance, race, besides being things like humans, elves, and gnomes, also means monstrous humanoids (minotaurs, mongrelmen, etc.), intelligent undead (lich, vampire, etc.), and basically any sentient creature that could/does live in some sort of civilized society ("civilized" being used loosely in some cases).
   
   My race of choice would be vampires (specifically half-elf merely because I really like half-elves). I like vampires because of their cunning and manipulative ways, which goes perfectly with the rogue style (rogue is also my favorite class). There's also just an aura of charm and mystery around vampires that I can't not love!

    Adorable tiny hands that can grasp and manipulate things.
    Adorable nose which gives the scent ability.
    Adorable whiskers give you blindsense.
    Adorable tiny body gives +30 to stealth and escape artist.
    Adorable but strong back legs give a +10 to jump.
    Adorable curly-que tail gives +10 to balance checks.
    20 year lifespan is a good run. I'm not a live-forever type person.
    +50 to all charisma-based checks except intimidation.

    I would be an Amberite.  Why be anything less?
    
    If we expanded that slightly, I would be a Solarian (cough, kryptonian, cough), but I think I would stay with Amberite.
