A fairly nondescript, very shy guy, tall, thin, brown haired and brown eyes with a brow not far from being a unibrow. Shy with strangers and acquaintances, but fairly outgoing with friends. Quite reserved and a teetotaler.
Valadaar was an okay, if unexceptional student, at first studying electrical engineering and then realizing he was much better at and enjoyed coding more, so he switched over to that degree.
He has had some survival training from his cadet days, which all of his friends have heard about - a few times. The week without food, the great fish that got away, the voices that told him to build the fire higher. More recently, LARPing was a big part of his social life, running around in the woods swinging padded foam weapons being quite a hoot. Outside of gaming, his social circle was vanishingly small. Though there was that girl from the Bookstore...
With a bachelors of computer science, valadaar went to work for the local government, maintaining ancient code that monitored fuel systems.
All and all, a boring life, one which was about to get much more interesting....
