I didn't realise that older submissions didn't count. Well, at least this gives me a new sub to work with.
Can the Strolenati submission be about anything? -

#14Kassy, I'm really beginning to feel like a dick (and I'm really not trying to be), but isn't Wishmaster a 100-word sub? http://strolen.com/guild/index.php/topic,6012.0.html 100-word subs and stubs don't count towards quests unless specifically allowed in the quest rules :( -

#15Sorry Kassy, I am of the Clan of Anti-100 word/Stub.
We had an interesting conversation on banning them from the frontpage of the citadel just the other day. So definitely don't count towards the Strolenati Quests since I am the Ultimate Command General King of the Guild.
Anyway, you are better than trying to get in a guild with that!!

#17Actually, Kassy had a sub out that isn't 100 word that fits the requirements although it's a collab sub with Caesar.
Then again, Kassy could always expand one of her existing 100s. -

#18I must have missed the part about 100 Word Challenges not being allowed. I'll take one of them and expand it, probably Wishmaster or Onyx Guardians (which only 1 person has looked at!) as either of them would make a good full submission, I hope.
Side note: banning 100 Word Challenges from the main page, how would they get noticed/voted on then? -

#19Kassy, I think you misunderstood. Strolen has banned a 100 word sub from being submitted towards a Guild quest. You can still submit one for general purposes and people can still vote on it as per usual. -

I understand (now), that they can't be submitted as a quest entry. I was just wondering because he mentioned finding a way to remove them from the main page.. Or maybe I did misunderstand.. Brainfog..
Anyway, I'm typing up my full NPC now. That will hopefully do the job. I was going to upload it yesterday but Gossamer felt that uploading them all would be rather selfish.

#22Congrats! That has fulfilled the requirements for the sub. How are you going with the upvotes and being upvoted? I just fulfilled the being upvoted requirement yesterday (the being upvoted part was a devil of a requirement :twisted:, I must say, if you don't want to resort to coercion, bribery and threats). -

The only joy in life I get is to be the one (as the most ominivorant precipitactical Guild leader) to officially welcome somebody into the guild I spend years toiling in the mud swamps of Acconort creating. Then months gathering zoogs in order to sell them in the black market to buy my first wagon. Only then could I move to Organsteel where the Isingorps stole my wheels and left me begging for pussy willows. Finally, after fighting my way to the center of the labyrinth and creating from scratch the Strolenati guild, somebody else just swoops in and steals my thunder. And what is rain without thunder you ask? Crying! And that is what I am doing right now....again.
So I will go review the requirements and do my thing and believe, just for a moment, that people care about my opinion.
I might be a few minutes, I read slower when I sulk. -
